Week of March 26 Monday (no class for y'all): Twelfth Night: Make sure your logs are all up-to-date for Act 3. This I Believe: You should have read/listened to at least six TIB essays. Remember to list and comment on them.
Tuesday, Mar. 27 1. Twelfth Night:I and J period --finish your diary entry from Maria's PoV (at 3.4.119); finish your log up to 3.4.185; be sure to include a sentence or two for each of the various comic episodes in this scene. H period -- finish your diary entry from V-C's PoV (at 3.4.314). Then finish the scene and write up your log for 3.4. Be sure to include a sentence or two on the various comic episodes in this scene.
2. GUM: after we go over introductory phrases and clauses in class, finish pp. 5-6 in your comma packet.
Wednesday, Mar. 28 1. Twelfth Night: finish your log entry for 3.4 Part 2. Next week I'll be collecting your logs, so be sure they're all in one place and complete. Quiz on Acts 3 and 4 is on Tuesday. 2. GUM: Quiz on commas is on Thursday. 3. Poetry: If you are interested in sharing a poem at Lunch in April, I put up the sign-up on our English 8 Wiki Page. Then please go to the second page, Poems for April Lunchtime, and type/paste the poem you wish to read.
